On Thursdays, beginning May 6, takeout meals will be available at the Cimino Plaza on the corner of 4th and Walnut Street, at the Children\u2019s Library entrance. Lunch will be distributed between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWe have been wanting to have more of a visible presence in the north Valley for several years now,\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>said Teresa Beahen Lipman, executive director at the Senior Connection. \u201cThe Community Library is a<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>great resource to let seniors know the resources we have available.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Senior Connection will be providing meals at a cost of $5 for adults 60 and better and $8 for those under 60 years of age. Kids are $4. Scholarships are available if cost is a barrier. Reservations are<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>required and need to be made by Mondays at noon by calling the Senior Connection 208-788-3468 or emailing stephanie@seniorconnectionidaho.org. The menu is available by calling the Senior Connection<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>to be put on their newsletter mailing list or online at www.seniorconnectionidaho.org\/menu. Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable bag for their lunch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Community Library will be providing a reading each week and, beginning in June, as the COVID<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>situation permits, takeout diners are encouraged to linger and enjoy lunch in their wonderful outdoor<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>space.
