However, this is why elections, voting, and staying informed is immensely valuable right now.

As a DACA [Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals] recipient, I do not get this privilege. And it’s quite unfortunate that many who do have this ability don’t care for it or take advantage of improving what is being challenged in our growing minority groups. It’s time we change that with this election. I don’t want to continue to see people struggling to get healthcare. I don’t want to continue to watch families and children in cages. I don’t want to continue to see Black communities being looked down upon just because of the color of their skin. I don’t want to continue to see the LGBTQA+ community struggling to gain approval for something as simple as using the restroom that personally feels most comfortable to them. I don’t want to see any of that anymore. And in order for that to happen, we need to vote.

If you are unsure where you might be able to do so voting in Idaho, it can be done in person, by mail, online and frequently promoted on apps like Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram, so there is no excuse. Vote for someone who will fight for us and the people in our communities.

NUESTRA VOZ CUENTA

D

OUR VOICE COUNTS After watching the very, very messy first presidential debate on Sept. 28, the most popular searched question on Google for many states like Michigan was, “how to get a citizenship in Canada?” Now, I don’t blame anyone for wanting to leave this country in this moment in time.
