Curated by Nicole Potter, Regional History Museum librarian, the exhibit features photographs taken in Sun Valley for the Union Pacific Railroad Publicity Department during the 1940s and 1950s. These were designed to entice and excite potential guests into visiting Sun Valley for some winter recreation and relaxation.<\/p>\n<p>Wed Jan 15<br \/>\nTaiz\u00e9 Service<br \/>\n5:30-6PM \/ St. Thomas \/ Ketchum<\/p>\n<p>Taiz\u00e9 is a weekly candlelit service of meditative silence, song, and prayer. Participants will meet on the porch at Galena Lodge before taking a 1.5-mile, 2-hour tour exploring the history of mining at Galena Lodge and the winter ecology and tracking of the snowy landscape. Tours are free to the public and open to all ages. Snowshoes can be rented at Galena Lodge. During this signature community event, attendees purchase locally made ceramic bowls for $20 per bowl, then fill the bowl with made-from-scratch soups, salads, chili, bread and dessert donated by local chefs and caterers.
