Discussion leader Herbert Romero (standing, front) and his wife Mary Romero (standing, back, red hat) initiated the class through the Flourish Foundation and connected with Michel Sewell\u2014the faculty advisor for Wood River High School\u2019s Latino student club Nosotros United and also the high school\u2019s GRIT teacher (Growing, Rigor, Initiative, Integrity and Tenacity)\u2014to find interested students. Restaurant owner Sandra Castillo (sitting, left, red shirt) offered the restaurant as a venue for the class and also as a real-world learning opportunity for the students (who will have a chance to learn how to cook at the restaurant with a professional chef). The class will meet twice per month for the next three months, focusing on healthy relationships of all kinds, from the romantic to the educational and professional.
